Job summary

New World Feilding is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead our Bakery Team and ensure a full, appealing range of products daily. You will drive production, oversee scratch baking, and manage stock, safety, and costs in a busy retail bakery.

The role requires a qualified baker with strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment. Weekend shifts may apply.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee production list to ensure a full range of bakery products baked daily.
• Scratch bake, including baking, proving, finishing, and packing according to recipes.
• Meet or exceed sales and GP targets and manage wage costs.
• Oversee training and support of all team members.
• Order and maintain essential bakery supplies for display of goods.
• Ensure all food safety and health & safety standards are met.
• Foster positive, supportive relationships within the bakery team.
• Undertake all tasks required within the department.

New World Feilding is looking for a Bakery Manager to lead our BakeryTeam

You will be working with a committed and motivated team who pridesthemselves on the quality produce and service we offer our customers here at NewWorld.

The successful candidate will have the drive and passion to take ourBakery to the next level. You will workwith your team to ensure the retail bakery space is full and appealingthroughout the hours of trade, and that stock levels are controlledappropriately.

Tasks will include:

• Creating and overseeing theproduction list to ensure a full range of high-quality bakery products arebaked daily
• Scratch baking, including baking,proving, finishing and packing core range products according tospecifications, standards and recipes to a consistent, high standard
• Ensure sales and GP targetsfor the department are met or exceeded and that wage costs are controlledappropriately.
• Oversee the training andsupport of all team members
• Ordering and maintaining allessential bakery needs for creation and display of goods
• Ensuring all food safety andhealth & safety standards are met
• Leading positive andsupportive working relationships with and within the bakery team.
• Undertake all tasks requiredwithin the department.
