Pathways is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join the awake night team at our Nelson respite home. You will work Sunday and Monday nights, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, with a free meal provided each shift and permanent part-time hours that offer a stable roster.

Join our supportive team to help individuals in mental health distress, providing a safe, calm overnight environment and opportunities for ongoing learning and development.

Qualifikationen

• NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 or recognised equivalent (or working towards one).
• Experience supporting people with mental health challenges.
• Current full New Zealand driver licence.
• Current comprehensive first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in New Zealand (not AEWV sponsorship).

• Provide compassionate, recovery-focused and culturally safe support.
• Monitor wellbeing, offer practical assistance and respond when support is needed.
• Complete documentation, handovers and administrative tasks.
