Job summary

NetYourJob in Timaru is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our newly renovated Service and Parts facility. You’ll work with modern vehicles, with WOF authority preferred, and may consider a 2–3 year Apprentice.

You’ll converse with customers, handle invoicing and bookings, and perform minor admin tasks as needed while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Qualifications

• Qualified Automotive Technician / Mechanic with WOF authority.
• Apprentice considered (2–3 year trainee) with potential.

Responsibilities

• Converse with customers about service needs.
• Perform invoicing, bookings and payments as needed.
• Carry out minor administrative tasks in the workshop.
• Ensure service quality in Timaru's renovated facility.

We're looking for an Automotive Technicianto join our newly renovated Service and Parts facility in Timaru.

Our ideal candidate will be a Qualified Automotive Technician / Mechanic with WOF authority however we may also consider a two or 3 year Apprentice.

You’ll preferably be conversant with modern vehicles with experience with EV or hybrid vehicles being a strong advantage. Confident and clear communication skills are key to this role as you’ll be required to converse with customers, carry out minor administrative tasks, invoicing and taking bookings and payments as needed.
