Job summary

AA New Zealand is seeking an Automotive Technician in Nelson to service, diagnose and repair a range of passenger and light commercial vehicles. You will work within a supportive workshop team and uphold AA quality and safety standards while offering clear, professional customer advice.

You will have a Level 4 Automotive Trade Qualification, at least three years' experience, and a clean New Zealand driver licence. WOF authority is preferred; COF-A would be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Qualified Automotive Technician with Level 4 trade cert.
• Three+ years in automotive servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
• NZ driver licence in good standing, WOF/COF knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver vehicle servicing, repairs and inspections to AA standards.
• Diagnose faults and provide clear verbal/written reports.
• Keep customers informed about issues, work and timeframes.
• Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction.
• Promote AA products and services as appropriate.
• Maintain health, safety and workshop best practices.
