Job summary

MUSTER LIMITED in Hamilton is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, service and repair a variety of European vehicles in a well-equipped workshop.

The role focuses on technical work, including diagnostics, servicing, engine and gearbox repairs, with a collaborative team and ongoing training opportunities. A reliable, organized individual capable of independent work will fit well in this environment.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Automotive Technician with workshop experience.
  • European vehicle experience preferred but not essential.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and within a team.
  • WOF certification advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service and repair a range of European vehicles.
  • Carry out scheduled servicing and mechanical repairs.
  • Assist with diagnostic work, engine repairs, and gearbox work.
  • Complete clear and accurate job notes.
  • Work closely with the service team regarding vehicle progress.
  • Focus purely on workshop-based technical work with no customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Maintain a tidy and organised work bay.
