Job summary

Keith Andrews Trucks in New Zealand is seeking an experienced LCV Auto Technician to diagnose, repair and service light commercial vehicles at our Silverdale workshop. You will perform routine servicing to manufacturer standards, liaise with the service team and customers for approvals, and document all work while staying current with vehicle technology. A Class 2 licence is preferred, with Class 5 support available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in automotive or a relevant trade qualification.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving and mechanical skills.
• Class 2 licence ideally (Class 5 support available).
• Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain a range of light commercial vehicles e.g. vans, utes & small trucks.
• Perform routine servicing to manufacturer standards.
• Liaise with the service team and customers for approvals and updates.
• Accurately document all work carried out.
• Stay up to date with the latest vehicle technology and repair methods.
• Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness and workshop compliance.
