Job summary

Jade Software Corporation is seeking an automation-focused quality professional to strengthen our MADCAP product portfolio. The role involves building robust automated tests, integrating quality throughout the SDLC, and collaborating with developers, product managers and leads to deliver high-quality software for New Zealand and international markets.

You will shape our automation capability, contribute to modern engineering practices, and ensure our products meet exceptional quality standards

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining automated tests within a software development environment.
• Strong technical skills in C#, .NET and modern test automation frameworks.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs and ideally mobile applications.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices and modern software delivery approaches.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and automated quality assurance practices would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites across mobile, web, API and backend systems.
• Build automated regression, integration and end-to-end tests for reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify quality risks and improve test coverage.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and share best practices across MADCAP teams.
• Investigate defects, analyze test failures and provide actionable insights for releases.
• Monitor and report on automation effectiveness and overall product quality.
