- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software and firmware solutions for the life sciences industry, focusing on hardware automation and reliability
- Apply Test Driven Development to ensure robust and reliable code
- Co-own the code and continuously improve code quality and design through refactoring
- Use AI advancements to increase productivity while ensuring software is validated and traceable
- Conduct software verification and validation to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Ensure software security through best practices and continuous improvement
- Apply DevOps practices to streamline development, deployment, and operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative features
- Ensure compliance with FDA CFR21 Part 11, CE, and ISO 9001 standards

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience
- Experience in the life sciences industry or a comparable highly regulated industry, such as medical devices
- Strong experience writing clean, idiomatic, and testable code in Structured Text and TypeScript
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Functional Programming
- Experience with Test Driven Development, pair programming, and CI/CD workflows using GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Understanding of software and hardware verification and validation processes
- Experience with continuous delivery using DevOps tools and methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Appreciation for good UX design and a customer-oriented mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Experience working remotely in a highly skilled team
- Experience with Scrum, including breaking down, slicing, and estimating work, writing user stories, setting expectations, and keeping commitments
- Preferred: experience with Structured Text testability, Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 and ADS, Debian and Beckhoff Linux, Python, Vue3, RXDB, and Electron
