Job summary
Metro Performance Glass is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for our Auckland manufacturing plant in Highbrook. You will join a close-knit team and take a hands-on role in keeping our plant and equipment running at peak performance.
From planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs to new installations and improvement projects, you’ll contribute to safer operations and continuous improvement, with health and safety being a core value you uphold daily.
Qualifications
- Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Knowledge of automation equipment, HMIs and PLCs is desirable
- Experience with Lisec automated equipment is an advantage
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience with automated and industrial production machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication within the wider plant and with management
Responsibilities
- Keep plant and equipment running at peak performance
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Assist with new installations and improvement projects
- Help develop training processes and documentation for the team
- Uphold Health & Safety as a core value
- Collaborate with management and production team
