Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) New Zealand is seeking an experienced Automation lead to define and drive the automation testing strategy across projects. You will establish standards, build scalable Playwright/C# frameworks, and guide a team of Automation Engineers to improve coverage, efficiency, and ROI.

The role emphasizes leadership, advanced testing techniques, and adoption of AI-driven automation to deliver reliable, scalable solutions for our clients and local operations.

Qualifications

• Define and maintain automation testing strategy and roadmap.
• Establish automation standards, frameworks, and best practices.
• Drive automation maturity across functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Measure and report automation ROI, coverage, and efficiency metrics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and C#.
• Develop and execute automated test Suites.
• Lead a team of Automation Engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Mentor team members on automation best practices and knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate emerging automation technologies including AI-assisted testing.
