Job summary

Westpac New Zealand Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Engineering professional to design, develop, maintain and execute automated test solutions across the WNZL landscape. You will apply best practice techniques and agile quality engineering principles to deliver reliable software testing outcomes.

The role requires strong programming skills, hands-on UI/API automation using Selenium and Playwright, and mentoring peers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve test coverage

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and executing automated test strategies.
• Strong background in UI and API automation within Agile/DevOps.
• Experience coaching and reviewing quality across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and deliver automation test solutions across the WNZL landscape.
• Lead testing strategy design and peer reviews.
• Educate the wider Business Area on quality best practices.
