Job summary

HEB Construction Limited is seeking a Sealing Manager to lead chip sealing operations across the Auckland region and beyond. You will manage safety, efficiency, and quality while overseeing the 20-strong sealing and membrane teams from our Wiri head office.

You’ll report to the North Island Surfacing leadership and drive continuous improvement, client relationships, and peak team performance in a growing regional portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in roading, sealing, or surfacing operations.
• NZ-based experience required.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Deep understanding of surfacing delivery and equipment.
• Sound commercial judgement.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, high-quality delivery of surfacing work.
• Support contract performance, planning, estimating, and reporting.
• Ensure people and equipment are utilised optimally.
• Coach and develop your team.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and building capability, succession planning.
• Oversee equipment needs and CAPEX planning.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and JV partners.
