Job summary

Qualifications

• NZ class 5 driver license or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months experience or Level 2 qualification.
• Must pass random drug and alcohol tests.
• Able to drive manual trucks.
• Willing to weekend, day/night shifts and early morning starts.
• Willing to stay out of town for floating runs.
• Flexible for working between 30 to 70 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Plan deliveries to ensure on-time arrival.
• Drive trucks on various routes to deliver goods.
• Supervise loading and unloading of products.
• Handle fragile and heavy items with care.
• Maintain records of deliveries.
• Inspect trucks daily for cleanliness and maintenance needs.
• Follow traffic rules and safety regulations.
• Collect delivery confirmations from customers.
• Monitor and refuel oil as needed.
• Report defects or maintenance needs.
• Maintain health and safety awareness.
