Hkboparai Limited is seeking a reliable Truck Driver in Canterbury, New Zealand to safely transport goods and support a dynamic team. Role offers a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week with roster-based flexible hours and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include route planning, loading/unloading, and accurate delivery documentation. Must hold a valid Class 5 license and have NZ citizenship/residency or valid work rights.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license or equivalent overseas license.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including loading and unloading items.
• Familiarity with navigation tools and GPS devices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods.
• Adhere to traffic laws and maintain safe driving practices.
• Load items onto the delivery vehicle in a secure and organized manner.
• Unload items at the designated delivery location and handle packages safely.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes for timely and efficient deliveries.
• Utilize GPS devices to find optimal paths.
• Confirm delivery with recipients and obtain signatures or proof of delivery.
• Provide basic information about delivered items and address inquiries professionally.
• Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
• Maintain delivery records and complete required paperwork promptly.
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies, especially for hazardous materials.
• Manage time to meet delivery deadlines with accuracy.
• Weekly ROC, COF, and registration checks.
