New Zealand Post Group in Auckland with hybrid work is seeking a Critical Safety Risk Lead to help understand, manage and monitor risks that can cause serious harm across operations. You will lead the development and ongoing improvement of the critical risk management approach to protect people and the business.

You will lead Bowtie workshops, partner with frontline teams and leaders to manage critical safety risks, and design assurance activities to validate control effectiveness, reporting

Qualifications

• Five+ years in health and safety roles in high-risk operations.
• Experience facilitating risk assessments and workshops with frontline teams.
• Knowledge of Bowtie methodology or similar risk frameworks.
• Strong communication and ability to translate technical risk into practical terms.
• Experience working in unionised environments preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead critical risk assessments and Bowtie workshops across NZ Post's operations
• Partner with frontline teams to identify, understand and manage critical safety risks
• Develop, measure and monitor critical controls to prevent serious incidents
• Design and deliver assurance activities to validate the effectiveness of critical controls
• Analyse findings and drive corrective actions
• Provide insights and reporting on risk exposure and control health to leaders
