Job summary

Enviro NZ Tauranga is seeking an experienced Class 5 Driver to join our line-haul team. You’ll drive our modern fleet, including late model Arocs Mercedes and FH16 Volvo, with a consistent schedule and home every night. Responsibility includes daily trips from Tauranga transfer stations to Hampton Downs landfill and back, safety checks, and teamwork for safe loading/unloading. NZ citizenship/residency or valid work visa required.

Qualifications

• Class 5 Licence and proven experience driving at this level.
• Fork hoist and tipping experience are essential.
• Road Ranger experience is advantageous but not required.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and logbook requirements.

Responsibilities

• Daily trips from Tauranga transfer stations to Hampton Downs landfill and back, with other locations as required.
• Drive and operate modern fleet safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance/cleaning.
• Collaborate with internal teams for safe loading/unloading of goods.
• Maintain a positive team culture and comply with safety standards.

Join Our Team at Enviro NZ Tauranga: Seeking an experienced Class 5 Driver!

Enviro NZ Tauranga is looking for a skilled Class 5 Driver to join our line-haul team. You'll drive our state-of-the-art fleet, including late model 630 hp Arocs Mercedes and FH16 600 Volvos.

Role Highlights:

• Consistent Schedule: Enjoy regular hours with no overnight stays, home every nightensuring a healthy work-life balance.
• Daily Trips: Transport goods from Tauranga transfer stations to Hampton Downs landfill and back, including other locations as required.
• Modern Fleet: Operate advanced, well-maintained trucks and trailers.
• Vehicle Safety: Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure safety.
• Maintenance: Maintain and clean your vehicle regularly.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders for safe loading and unloading.

Key Requirements:

• Class 5 Licence & proven experience in driving and reversing at this level.
• Essential skills - Fork hoist and Tipping experience
• Additional Skills: Road Ranger is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety regulations and logbook requirements.
• A motivated approach and willingness to contribute to a positive team culture.
