Job summary

Optimal Workshop Ltd. is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our Product team and help build better experiences for our customers.

You will work with Product, Design and Engineering to take ideas from discovery through delivery, shaping requirements and supporting launches. You’ll learn how to make informed product decisions while gradually taking ownership of features and projects in a growing SaaS business, with a flexible, remote-first setup and the option to work from our Wellington

Qualifications

• Curious and proactive mindset with an interest in building great products.
• Customer-centric approach and ability to translate needs into features.
• Developing understanding of commercial drivers and market competition.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; turning data into insights.
• Clear, collaborative communicator across teams.
• Adaptable, eager to learn, take initiative and handle ambiguity.
• 0–2 years' experience in product management or SaaS/tech roles.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers by building relationships and gathering feedback.
• Explore opportunities via product discovery, market research, and competitive analysis.
• Define requirements, create user stories, flag improvements and defects, support launches.
• Communicate roadmap updates and assist with sales enablement materials.
• Monitor metrics and adoption to identify opportunities to improve the product.
• Take ownership of defined features or projects with PM support.
