Job summary

Central Auckland Specialist School Auckland is seeking two Associate Principals on full-time release to lead primary and intermediate learning teams and support students with intellectual disabilities. The ideal candidates will have some leadership experience and a background in specialist education is preferred.

You will join a supportive leadership group, committed to innovative pedagogy, collaborative practice, and ongoing professional growth within a well-resourced school.

Qualifications

• Background in specialist education preferred.
• Some leadership experience is desirable.
• Bi-Culturalism, eLearning, and Assessment for Learning are negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of professionals and contribute to high-quality teaching.
• Support teaching and learning practices and develop leadership within the school.
• Collaborate with staff to implement an engaging curriculum for Years 1–8.
