Job summary

Datacom is a leading IT services provider in Australasia with offices in Auckland. As Associate Consultant – Data you will contribute to the successful delivery of Data, Analytics and BI solutions for our customers in a collaborative team of data professionals.

You will design, develop and implement modern data platforms, ETL pipelines, dashboards and reporting capabilities, with opportunities to work on diverse projects and grow your expertise in data engineering and analytics while

Qualifications

2+ years' experience delivering data solution components, including ETL pipelines, dashboards and reporting solutions.
Knowledge of traditional and modern data platforms, including data warehouses, data marts and data lakes.
Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts and principles.
Understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and associated database administration concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and interpret business requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver against agreed schedules.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Science, Technology, Commerce or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

Contributing to the delivery of data engineering and business intelligence components of Data, Analytics and BI solutions.
Assisting with the implementation and support of data platforms, ETL pipelines, dashboards and reporting solutions.
Analysing business requirements and translating them into effective technical solutions.
Providing consultancy and technical guidance on data engineering and business intelligence technologies.
Supporting the design and implementation of data models and data warehousing solutions.
Ensuring allocated solution components are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with quality standards and client requirements.
Providing project-based and operational support for Data, Analytics and BI solutions.
Collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver successful outcomes.
Maintaining awareness of health and safety obligations and adhering to Datacom policies and procedures.
