Job summary

Datacom in Auckland is seeking an Associate Consultant – Data to contribute to successful data, analytics, and BI solution delivery. You will work within a collaborative data team to design, develop and implement modern data platforms, ETL pipelines, dashboards and reporting capabilities.

You will have opportunities across multiple projects, helping clients unlock value from data through effective technical delivery and consultancy while developing expertise in data engineering, BI and analytics

Qualifications

• 2+ years of delivering data solution components including ETL pipelines, dashboards and reporting.
• Knowledge of traditional and modern data platforms: data warehouses, marts and lakes.
• Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts and principles.
• Understanding of RDBMS and related DBA concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret business requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver against schedules.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Science, Technology, Commerce or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of data engineering and BI components of Data, Analytics and BI solutions.
• Assist with implementation and support of data platforms, ETL pipelines, dashboards and reports.
• Analyse business requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Provide consultancy and guidance on data engineering and BI technologies.
• Support design and implementation of data models and DW solutions.
• Ensure components are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Provide project-based and operational support for Data, Analytics and BI solutions.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver outcomes.
• Maintain awareness of health and safety and Datacom policies.
