Job summary

Tribe Group is seeking an Assistant Product Manager to support its consumer electronics portfolio, including brands such as GoPro, Smart Calendar, and MyFirst. Based in Auckland, you’ll collaborate with the Business Manager to manage daily product and commercial activities, from stock forecasting to partner programs, across major NZ retailers.

The role emphasizes sales support, coordination, and delivery, with a focus on documentation, queries, and program execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a commercial role such as sales support, junior account management, category/product support, or retail/supplier-side coordination.
• Confidence communicating with stakeholders and supporting meetings, submissions, and program execution.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with commercial metrics like sales, margin, pricing, and stock.
• High attention to detail across product documentation, packaging/artwork, and process.
• Teachable, proactive style and appetite to learn and grow your career.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day product and commercial engine for the division.
• Stock forecasting and inventory coordination.
• Prepare product documentation and manage samples/spares.
• Support customer and consumer queries and inquiries.
• Help execute programs with retail partners.
