Job summary

Repco in Queenstown, Otago, is seeking a Supervisory Store Leader to join our team and report to the Branch Manager. You will be their eyes and ears on the shop floor, helping to introduce new initiatives and uphold service standards as you guide customers to the best products.

Expect 43.5 hours per week with weekend coverage, a strong training program, and ongoing development. You will build relationships with customers and staff while maintaining branch presentation and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience.
• 2+ years in retail or related trade.
• Automotive product knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Effective communication at all levels.
• Friendly, positive attitude with attention to detail.

• Motivating and organising staff daily to create a great team culture.
• Providing exceptional customer service and accurate advice to our customers.

About the role:
In this role you will report to the Branch Manager and be their eyes and ears on the shop floor. You will help to introduce new initiatives into the branch and be a key point of contact for both customers and team members. In addition to this, you will uphold customer service standards daily and assist them in finding the best product to meet their needs. Specific duties include:

• Supporting the Branch Manager to drive sales and improve store performance
• Motivating and organising staff daily to create a great team culture
• Providing exceptional customer service and accurate advice to our customers
• Processing retail and trade sales
• Building strong relationships with key customers and team members alike
• Maintaining a high standard of branch presentation

Note, this role will require lifting, bending & climbing

• Previous experience in a supervision or leadership role
• 2+ years’ experience working in retail or a related trade position
• Knowledge or understanding of automotive products (or willingness to learn!)
• Effective communication style at all levels
• A friendly and positive attitude
• Excellent attention to detail.
