Job summary

Repco, part of GPC Asia Pacific, is seeking a Store Manager in Dunedin to lead the Repco team and drive profitability for both Trade and Retail channels. You will report to the Area Manager and oversee all branch operations, focusing on achieving sales targets and strategic initiatives.

You will manage budgets, develop staff, and build strong customer relationships to sustain market leadership while upholding OHSE standards and safety. This role requires hands-on leadership and drive.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience within the automotive industry.
• Previous experience in a management position with P&L accountability.
• Passionate, sociable and engaging personality who will drive staff to succeed.
• Proven experience developing relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen in both sales and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail.

About the role

In this role you will report to the Area Manager and will be responsible for the management of the Repco team, overseeing allbranchoperations and the business profitability. As a dual format business looking after both Trade and Retail customers you will need to have a flair for business, managing sales targets, budgets and new initiatives, whilst also being the key point of contact for both customers and team member.

Specific duties include

• Managing the store to increase sales and improve EBIT
• Ensuring the store is highly competitive and attractive in the market
• Developing staff to deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge
• Building strong relationships with customers to ensure continued market leadership
• Contribute to the profitability, growth and return on investment of the company by developing and implementing strategic initiatives
• Ensure thebranchsafety standards adhere to OHSE policies, procedures and legislative requirements, through effective communication with the team and an active approach to hazard identification and risk management
• Creating a supportive and motivating environment for your team to learn and develop their skills and knowledge, whilst clearly understanding their role and accountabilities
• Effectively manage inventory to minimise costs to the business and maximise efficiencies.
• Are safety leaders, constantly striving to provide the safest work environment for themselves, team and customers.
• Note, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving
