Job summary

Fluid Recruitment seeks an organised Assistant Accountant in Queenstown CBD to support multi-entity financial operations. The role covers end-to-end AP, AR, GST, and general accounting tasks within a busy finance team.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on Xero experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise across competing deadlines. The role offers a full-time, permanent position with flexible start/finish times in a scenic Queenstown location.

Qualifications

• Essential: Hands-on experience using Xero.
• Essential: Experience in a multi-entity accounting environment.
• Experience across accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Good working knowledge of GST and New Zealand accounting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end accounts payable processes across multiple entities.
• Processing and reconciling accounts receivable.
• Preparing and assisting with GST returns.
• Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities.
• Assisting with month-end processes and reporting.
• Supporting the wider finance function with general accounting duties.
