Job summary

Contact Energy in New Zealand is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to turn business requirements into commercially sound sourcing strategies and supplier arrangements.

You’ll manage the sourcing lifecycle from market analysis to tendering, negotiation and contract execution, building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver value while balancing cost, quality and risk.

Experience with SAP, Ariba or Coupa is a plus, and travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in procurement, category management or commercial roles.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, negotiation and supplier management.
