Job summary

Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities is seeking an Asset Manager - Complexes to lead the strategic and operational management of a portfolio of multi-storey complexes and body corporate properties. You will balance commercial imperatives with compliance and customer outcomes to ensure quality homes.

The role focuses on asset performance, maintenance planning, and proactive stakeholder management, including councils and service providers, to protect and enhance long-term value for communities

Job description

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of complex residential assets that make a real difference

  • Build strong partnerships while delivering safe, compliant and sustainable housing outcomes

As an Asset Manager - Complexes, you'll be responsible for the strategic and operational management of a portfolio of multi-storey complexes, body corporate properties and residential properties. You'll work across asset performance, compliance, maintenance planning and stakeholder management, ensuring our properties remain fit for purpose, financially sustainable and provide quality homes for our customers.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll contribute to investment decisions, manage complex property issues, oversee compliance requirements, and represent the interests of Kāinga Ora with external stakeholders including body corporates, councils and service providers. You'll play a key role in protecting and enhancing the value of our housing assets while helping deliver positive outcomes for communities across Aotearoa.

You'll bring strong property, asset or facilities management experience, along with the ability to balance commercial, compliance and customer considerations. You enjoy building effective relationships, solving complex problems and making informed decisions that deliver long-term value.

To be successful in this role you will bring;
