Job summary

Auckland Council invites applications for the Asset Information Management and Data Standards Intern. This 12-week summer internship offers paid experience at the living wage rate of $29.90 per hour in New Zealand, with opportunities to work on real projects that shape infrastructure decisions and outcomes for Aucklanders.

You'll gain hands-on experience in asset information management, data governance, and infrastructure data standards while supporting a diverse team across the AMCoE.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the development and maintenance of asset data standards and business rules
• Reviewing asset information and identifying opportunities to improve data quality and consistency
• Assisting with asset information governance and data management initiatives
• Supporting the documentation of asset information requirements, processes, and standards
• Analysing asset data and contributing to reporting on data quality performance
• Working with spatial and asset information systems to support infrastructure information management
• Assisting with projects that improve the management and accessibility of asset information across Auckland Council
