Job summary

Auckland Council’s Summer Internship Programme offers paid, hands‑on ICT experience with real projects that shape Tāmaki Makaurau and improve outcomes for Aucklanders. From 23 November to 19 February, interns gain exposure to our Tech Services/ICT teams and work on meaningful mahi, supported by experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Be in your second-to-last year of a relevant bachelor’s degree, or continuing into a master’s degree.
• Be eligible to work in New Zealand full‑time from 23 November 2026 – 19 February 2026

• Provide technical IT support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with hardware and software maintenance.
• Gain hands‑on experience across ICT teams and contribute to real projects.
• Learn from experienced professionals and may be considered for the two‑year Graduate Programme.
