Job summary

Jora New Zealand in Christchurch is seeking a reliable Assembly Technician to join a growing EV charger manufacturing team. You'll assemble charging units to specification in a clean, modern facility and contribute to quality standards.

Monday–Friday shifts with flexible start times (7:00am/7:30am/8:00am), 8-hour days, on-the-job training, and a starting rate of $26 per hour paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble EV charging units and components to specification.
• Follow technical instructions and quality standards.

Assembly Technician - EV Charger Manufacturing

About the Role

We're looking for reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technicians to join our clients production team. You'll be involved in assembling high-quality EV chargers, working in a clean, modern environment with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble EV charging units and components to specification
• Follow technical instructions and quality standards
• Perform basic testing and quality checks
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Work collaboratively to meet daily production targets

What We're Looking For

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience (preferred but not essential)
