Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment is seeking an Asphalt Labourer for ongoing temp work across Christchurch and wider Canterbury. This role involves hand-laid asphalt on footpaths, driveways, car parks, patch repairs, tie-ins and detail work around kerbs and services.

Barrowing and raking experience is preferred and essential to keep up with crews. You will be outdoors in all weather, need reliable transport and a valid NZ licence.

Asphalt Labourer | Christchurch

We're looking for asphalt labourers for an ongoing temp assignment with a leading civil contractor working across Christchurch and wider Canterbury. This is hand-laid asphalt work on smaller areas: footpaths, driveways, car parks, patch repairs, tie-ins and detail work around kerbs and services. Barrow and rake experience is what we're after.

What you'll be doing

• Barrowing and raking asphalt on small-scale works
• Prep work, edge trimming and tidy-up
• Assisting the crew with plant, tools and traffic management
• Keeping the site safe and presentable

What you'll need

• Previous asphalt experience, barrow and raking preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Reliable transport and a full or restricted licence
• Good attitude, solid attendance and a willingness to muck in
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand and able to pass a pre-employment drug test
