Job summary

Jobtailor in Auckland is seeking a data specialist to manage and update article, vendor, pricing and purchasing information across multiple systems. You will support stores and suppliers with data corrections and updates, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

Investigate data issues and identify opportunities for process improvement, collaborating with IT, Finance and Retail stakeholders. The role emphasizes data alignment across SAP, JDE, WMS and POS to ensure data accuracy and timely

Qualifications

Job description

• Create, maintain and update article, vendor, pricing and purchasing information across multiple systems.
• Support stores and suppliers with data corrections and updates, ensuring a timely and accurate resolution.
• Investigate data-related issues, conduct root cause analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with Category Managers, Category Assistants, IT Support, Finance, Replenishment teams and Retail stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Maintain data alignment across key systems including SAP, online platforms, warehouse management systems and point of sale channels.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and an understanding of retail or merchandise operations.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP and/or JDE.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data integrity, accuracy and quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, sound judgement and the ability to use initiative.
• Experience managing large datasets and working within structured processes while building effective stakeholder relationships.
