Job summary

Garin College invites applications for an innovative and enthusiastic Art teacher to join our Arts faculty for the 2027 school year. The ability to teach senior Art up to L3 NCEA is essential. This part-time, fixed-term position may combine to form a 0.7 FTE role in 2027. Kāreti o Garin is an Integrated Catholic Special Character Co-education Year 9 to 13 College with over 650 learners. We are recognised for providing education with excellence and outstanding performance in sport, arts and culture. Garin College embeds exciting and innovative practices that promote outstanding student leadership and engagement in an integrated BYOD learning environment.

We seek an innovative and enthusiastic teacher of Art to join our experienced and collaborative Arts faculty for the 2027 school year. The ability to teach senior art painting to L3 NCEA is essential.

Please view our other advertised part-time, fixed-term Art teaching position. These positions may be combined to make a 0.7 FTTE teaching role in 2027. Please state other supporting subjects, and roles and responsibilities previously held.

The successful applicant for a non-special character position will accept the condition to support, uphold and be positively involved in the special character of the school. The successful applicant will be a NZ registered teacher and familiar with the NZ Curriculum and NCEA.
