Job summary

John McGlashan College invites applications for a full-time permanent Certificated Art teacher to join our arts faculty. The role covers Secondary (Years 7–15) and wharekura, with opportunities for leadership for the right candidate.

We are a values-driven, forward-looking kura with a strong commitment to student growth, inquiry-based learning, and community involvement. You will plan engaging art programs, assess progress, and contribute to school-wide improvement.

Qualifications

• Certificated teacher in New Zealand with current work rights.
• Experience teaching art to secondary students.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within a school community.
