Job summary

Calder Stewart is seeking an Architectural Technician in Christchurch to apply design knowledge across commercial and industrial projects using Autodesk Building Design Suite Premium. You will collaborate with nationwide offices, consultants and councils to deliver high-quality BIM drawings and documentation.

You will contribute to conceptual and working drawings, leveraging Revit and related tools, with a strong focus on NZBC standards, teamwork and problem solving to support Calder Stewart’s

Qualifications

• Experience in producing architectural conceptual drawings.
• Experience producing architectural working drawings would be advantageous.
• A relevant New Zealand Draughting qualification.
• Skills in Autodesk software particularly with Revit would be preferable.
• Experience or knowledge in Twinmotion, Revizto, AutoCad or ArchiCad could be beneficial.
• Understanding of NZBC and NZ Standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong ability in Microsoft suite.
• A strong work ethic with proven experience working within a team.
• NZ residency is required.

As an Architectural Technician based in Christchurch, you will have the opportunity to apply and showcase your design knowledge of a wide range of commercial and industrial design build projects at Calder Stewart. You will work with the latest ‘Autodesk Building Design Suite Premium’ on state-of-the-art machines. Skills and Attributes

• Experience in producing architectural conceptual drawings
