Job summary

New Zealand King Salmon – Blenheim, South Island, is seeking a hands-on Net Cleaning Deckhand to join our vessel fleet and support the health and performance of our salmon farms. Reporting to the Net Cleaning Team Leader, you will operate the ROV net cleaner and assist with a range of general farm tasks.

This role offers a 7 days on, 7 days off roster with the option to stay in onsite company accommodation.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in a marine environment.
• Strong communicator who works well with others and in a team.
• Well organized with planning skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Undertake deckhand duties across our vessel fleet.
• Operate the ROV net cleaner.
• Assist with general farm tasks to support salmon production.
• Contribute to the health and performance of our salmon farms.
