Job summary

Truckstops Tauriko, Tauranga is seeking a Parts Apprentice to join our team. You will support customers and workshop staff with parts enquiries, while learning through a nationally recognised apprenticeship and NZ Certificate in Automotive Parts and Accessories (Level 3).

You will develop practical parts knowledge, work across the front counter and warehouse, and join a team that values service, accuracy, and a drive to progress within Sime Motors group.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in trucks and automotive parts.

• Good computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and workshop staff with parts enquiries and orders.
• Provide friendly service by phone, email, and front counter.
• Build relationships to position Truckstops as a supplier of choice for Volvo, Mack, Hino and UD Trucks.
• Identify and supply truck and trailer parts accurately and efficiently.
• Keep the parts area tidy and organized, support warehouse tasks and stock replenishment.
• Learn product knowledge, systems and processes to grow technical expertise.
