Job summary

Scott Technology in Christchurch is offering an apprenticeship as an Apprentice Fitter Machinist. You’ll be employed for a fixed term, trained on the job, and emerge with a National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering - Fitting and Machining (Level 4).

Applicants should have completed at least three years of secondary education with NCEA Level 1 in English and Maths, plus ideally a Pre-Trade Level 3 qualification.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for Apprentices to commence an apprenticeship at our Christchurch operations.

As an Apprentice with us you will be employed for a fixed-term and trained on the job. On completion you will have a National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering -Fitting and Machining (Level 4).

Completed at least three years secondary education and obtained at least NCEA Level 1 in English and Maths, with ideally Science, Graphics and Technology.

Ideally hold a Pre-Trade Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
