Job summary

Trimble Inc is seeking an Applications Specialist (CTCT) in Christchurch, NZ. You will bridge the physical and digital worlds by testing machine control software and hardware, translating real-world earthmoving needs into testing specs, and supporting the development of next-generation GNSS and automated guidance systems.

You will design and execute automated and manual tests, troubleshoot complex field issues with cross-functional teams, and maintain testing setups for diverse civil

Qualifications

• Mechatronics Engineering or Software Testing background required.
• Experience in software testing or robotics is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on system, component, and API testing on heavy machinery software/hardware during development.
• Translate real-world requirements into actionable testing specs.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and manual test plans to improve quality.
