Job summary

3M in New Zealand seeks a New Zealand Application Engineer to provide customer-facing technical and application support across the PSD portfolio, enabling product applications, evaluations, training, and opportunities.

You will act as the technical bridge between customers and internal teams, translating needs into solutions, leading field trials, supporting product introductions, and helping drive market growth across respiratory, hearing, eye, head protection, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in application engineering, technical service or PPE.
• Knowledge of PPE standards and regulatory requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-facing technical and application engineering support.
• Lead workplace assessments and product evaluations.
• Support field trials, product demonstrations and training.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and R&D to identify opportunities.
