Job summary

Trade Depot is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic appliances across New Zealand. You will be the face of our service operation, delivering expert diagnosis, quality repairs, and first-time fixes while maintaining excellent customer service.

You’ll work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues, manage parts, and support warranty processes.

Qualifications

• EWRB registration and EAS practising licence are required.
• 5+ years' experience as a Service Technician is preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out high-quality repairs on domestic appliances.
• Provide professional, friendly service and clear repair recommendations.
• Collaborate with service teams to ensure efficient warranty support and turnaround times.
• Maintain accurate service records and warranty documentation.
