Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Southern invites applications for Anaesthetic Technicians in Invercargill, Southland. Roles can be full-time or part-time (1.0 - 0.8 FTE) with a state-of-the-art facility and generous salary.

You will work with anaesthetists, doctors and nurses, assisting with surgeries, theatre setup, and occasionally blood pressure meds. Rotating rosters and a broad catchment provide diverse experience.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Medical Sciences Council of NZ
• Able to work a rotating roster and in a high-volume surgical setting

Responsibilities

• Assist anaesthetists, doctors and nurses with surgeries and theatre setup
• Assist with blood pressure monitoring and medication administration as needed
• Rotate across shifts on a rotating roster with 8–10 hour blocks
• Work in a modern, state-of-the-art facility with opportunities to grow your skills
