Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand as an Anaesthetic Technician.
• Patient-focused with consistently high standards of care.
• Good technical skills and knowledge.
• Able to adapt easily to dynamic surgical environments.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe patient experience across Wellington Regional and Kenepuru Hospital facilities.
• Prepare the environment for the safe administration of anaesthesia.
• Assist during induction, maintenance and emergence stages of anaesthesia with Anaesthetists and perioperative team.
