Job summary

Nelson Marlborough Health is seeking two Allied Health Assistants at Nelson Hospital to support rehabilitation by managing and delivering Allied Health equipment. You will join the Allied Health Equipment Store and work closely with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to ensure patients receive the right equipment in a timely manner.

Two permanent part-time positions are available: 0.70 FTE (56 hours per fortnight) and 0.75 FTE (60 hours per fortnight), Monday to Friday 7:30am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in health sector or equipment management advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You will work collaboratively with therapists and allied health staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Allied Health equipment and stock.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries, collections and servicing.
• Assist therapists with equipment requests and enquiries.
• Support patients with delegated tasks related to equipment.
• Keep equipment safe, organized and ready for clinical use.
