Nelson Marlborough Health is seeking two Allied Health Assistants at Nelson Hospital to support rehabilitation by managing and delivering Allied Health equipment. You will join the Allied Health Equipment Store and work closely with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to ensure patients receive the right equipment in a timely manner.
Two permanent part-time positions are available: 0.70 FTE (56 hours per fortnight) and 0.75 FTE (60 hours per fortnight), Monday to Friday 7:30am–5:00pm.

This is a busy and hands-on role that requires excellentorganisation, initiative, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
One is a permanent, part-time position working 56 hours perfortnight (0.70 FTE);
The other a permanent, part-time position working 60 hours per fortnight (0.75FTE) Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am to 5.00pm.
The Nelson Equipment Store team is a small and hard-workingteam that support the inpatient, outpatient and community Allied Health teamswith their equipment needs.
You'll be someone who enjoys a practical role, takes pridein staying organised, and thrives in a team environment. You'll have excellentcommunication skills and the ability to build positive relationships withpatients, whānau, colleagues, and community providers.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Experience within the healthsector, knowledge of Allied Health equipment, or previous equipment managementexperience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
