Job summary

Airtronix is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our North Shore team. You’ll handle installation, service and fault-finding for residential and commercial air conditioning systems across commercial HVAC, heat pumps, and related electrical work.

Ideal candidates have HVAC experience, a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade qualification, and an Electrical Service Technician licence, with a Full NZ Driver Licence and right to work in NZ.

Airtronix is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our North Shore team.

This role will suit someone with solid hands-on HVAC experience who can install, service, fault-find residential and commercial airconditioning systems.

We are looking for candidates who were previously a Refrigeration or Air Conditioning technician, an experienced HVAC installer, or an electrician with strong heat pump and air conditioning experience.

The Role

You’ll work across:

• Commercial HVAC
• Heat pump and air conditioning installs
• Servicing, maintenance and fault finding
• Multi-split and ducted systems
• Related electrical work within your licence

Our projects include mostly small commercial buildings and aged care facilities.

What You’ll Get

• $70-$85k per annum, depending on experience

What We Need

You must have:

• Electrical Service Technician licence
• Ideally 2 years' trade experience
• Heat pump + Air-conditioning experience with Commercial and residential units
• Full NZ Driver Licence
• Current right to work in New Zealand
• Good customer communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Pride in tidy, high-quality workmanship

Ideally, you'll also have a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade qualification.
