Job summary

OneReg is seeking a leader to drive AI-enabled transformation across sales, delivery, support, product and operations in New Zealand. The role reports directly to the COO and focuses on making AI capability more systematic while recognizing when traditional productivity platforms or process redesign may be a better fit.

You will design AI-enabled workflows, orchestrate integrations, and lead adoption while tracking time, cost, quality and capacity improvements across the business.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering AI, automation, or technology-enabled process improvements in a real business environment.
• Strong business analysis, process-mapping, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience building or orchestrating AI-enabled workflows and automations.
• Practical knowledge of modern productivity platforms.
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, low-code tools, data flows, and system architecture.
• Understanding of controls for AI in regulated, high-trust environments.
• The ability to work with operational teams, product specialists, software engineers, and senior leaders.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with ability to explain technical opportunities plainly.

Responsibilities

• Work across sales, delivery, support, product, and operations to understand how work gets done and identify where AI can remove friction, increase capacity, or improve quality
• Design and deliver AI-enabled workflows, agents, and practical tools that people use in their everyday work
• Identify when conventional automation, system configuration, integration, or process redesign will produce a better result than AI
• Help OneReg get significantly more value from its existing productivity and business platforms
• Connect systems and information so unnecessary manual handling is reduced and work moves reliably between teams
• Build repeatable, maintainable capabilities rather than isolated experiments or one-off demonstrations
• Lead adoption through documentation, training, feedback, and ongoing improvement
• Measure the impact in terms of time, cost, quality, reliability, and capacity created
• Work with Product and Engineering to evaluate and develop opportunities where AI, automation, and intelligent workflows could create meaningful value for OneReg customers
• Define how OneReg evaluates, adopts, and scales new AI tools, models, and related technologies
