Job summary

IAG in Auckland is seeking a Document Testing & Automation Specialist to ensure the quality and reliability of customer communications produced via the SmartCOMMs platform.

You will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, execute API and end-to-end tests, validate XML/JSON data, and mentor junior QA teammates while advancing AI-enabled testing and modern quality practices across Agile teams.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and solutions.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate XML/JSON data, troubleshoot failures, and support defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Analysts, Developers, PO and stakeholders on requirements.
• Contribute to test planning, risk assessments and release readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end tests.
• Validate XML/JSON data and troubleshoot test failures.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers and Product Owners.
• Drive quality engineering practices and AI-enabled testing initiatives.
• Mentor junior QA team members and support continuous improvement.
