Job summary

Halo Systems is seeking a driven Business Development professional to own growth across Taranaki, Hawke's Bay, Manawatu-Wanganui and Wellington regions. This is a hands-on sales role for someone who thrives on getting out on farm, opening doors and turning relationships into business.

Based in Taranaki, you’ll build strong connections with farmers, dealers and industry partners, uncover new opportunities and grow Halo’s presence across the region.

Qualifications

• Proactive hunter and natural relationship builder who thrives on creating opportunities and turning conversations into sales.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven success in business development and solution sales.
• Comfortable travelling and spending time in market.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business with effluent monitoring a key focus for farms approaching consent renewal or conversion.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline in HubSpot.
• Develop relationships with farmers, contractors, suppliers and industry partners to generate new business.
• Grow sales across Halo’s wider offering, including grain silo, milk vat and chemical monitoring.
• Strengthen the dealer network and identify opportunities to win customers from competing solutions.
• Support existing customers and identify opportunities for further growth.
• Prepare accurate quotes and work with dealers through installation and commissioning.
