Job summary

CLAAS Harvest Centre – Hamilton is seeking a Field Service Technician / Agricultural Diesel Mechanic to keep farming machinery running when it matters most. You’ll diagnose, service and repair diesel equipment in the field and at customer sites.

Join a team that values safety, customer service and teamwork. You’ll mentor apprentices, support pre-assembly of machines, and partner with sales to keep farmers moving.

Qualifications

• Certified heavy diesel mechanic with comprehensive service and repair expertise.
• Agricultural experience is essential.
• Valid driver’s licence required.
• Customer service oriented with strong work ethic.
• Ability to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Team player who can also work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive mechanical services, diagnostics, repairs and in-field breakdown support.
• Support pre-assembly of cutting-edge machinery.
• Cultivate strong bonds with customers.
• Use expertise to support other technicians and apprentices.
