Job summary

Ravensdown Limited in Pukekohe is seeking a motivated Agri Manager on a 12-month fixed term to support farmers with soil, pasture, crops and animal guidance. You will visit farms, provide tailored nutrient advice, promote environmentally responsible practices, and build lasting relationships across dairy, horticulture, sheep and beef.

A background of 2+ years in customer-facing agribusiness, knowledge of farming systems and soil fertility, and a degree in agriculture are preferred; a company

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience engaging with customers, driving sales growth, and fostering authentic business relationships.
• Solid knowledge of farming systems and soil fertility.
• Awareness of New Zealand’s evolving environmental policies and their impact on farming.
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field preferred.

Are you passionate about agriculture and ready to help shape the future of farming? We’re on the lookout for a driven, customer-focused Agri professional to join our team over a 12-month fixed term period at our Pukekohe Store.

As an Agri Manager, you’ll be a trusted advisor to farmers, helping them get the best from their soil, pasture, crops, and animals while guiding them towards environmentally sustainable practices. You’ll play a vital role in reducing environmental impacts and unlocking value from the land through expert nutrient advice, innovative services, and top-quality products.

This is a role where everyday counts – you’ll spend most of your time on farm, building strong relationships, identifying needs, and delivering tailored solutions that make a real difference. Your patch will cover a diverse mix of dairy, horticulture, sheep and beef and cropping customers across the region.
